We want to teach our keepers to stay on their feet, but sometimes you have to get into action from a kneeing position. Think of a rebound!
Pro-Tip by Peter Rasch
The keepers should use their upper hand with shots far above head height. Throw balls for younger keepers controlled with both hands! If your ability to serve permits, serve volleys for more experienced keepers.
Pro-Tip by Roland Rasch
Pushing off and landing after the dive put enormous strains on the keeper's body. Pay attention for a solid load-management and plenty of breaks.
With passion and attention to detail, we've transfered our best drills into a unique and world-class set of training programmes designed to help experienced goalkeeper coaches and ambitious club coaches.
Training goalkeepers has to be fun and there has to be a high level of energy! With me, there is always action. Fun, ambition and discipline in goalkeeper training – that's my philosophy.
